The $4,800 participation fee covers the planned services and activities associated with the organized 14-day program in Ghana and Togo

The $4,800 fee does NOT include:

✈️ International airline tickets to and from West Africa

Participants are responsible for obtaining the appropriate visa and completing all required visa procedures before departure. AfriConnect Journeys will provide general travel information and guidance.

DAY 2 — ACCRA: CITY, CULTURE & COMMUNITY

• Guided exploration of Accra

• Visit to a major local market

• Introduction to Ghanaian daily life

• Cultural landmarks and important sites

• Local food experience

• Opportunity to interact with local residents

• Evening group gathering

DAY 3 — GHANAIAN HISTORY & HERITAGE

A day dedicated to understanding Ghana's history and its connection to the African diaspora.

• Visit to important historical sites

• Guided historical and cultural discussions

• Visit to a heritage site/museum

• Time for reflection and learning

• Traditional Ghanaian meal

DAY 4 — CAPE COAST & AFRICAN DIASPORA HISTORY

• Travel to the Cape Coast area

• Visit to a major historic coastal site

• Guided discussion about the history of the transatlantic slave trade

• Visit to Cape Coast surroundings

• Cultural and historical interpretation

• Group reflection

This day is intended to provide a respectful and educational experience, particularly for travelers interested in understanding the historical connections between West Africa and the African diaspora.

DAY 5 — NATURE, BEACH & GHANAIAN CULTURE

• Explore Ghana's natural environment

• Beach experience

• Local food

• Cultural activities

• Opportunity for photography and relaxation

• Free time to enjoy the surroundings

DAY 6 — GHANAIAN CULTURAL EXPERIENCE

A hands-on day designed to bring participants closer to local traditions.

Possible activities include:

DAY 7 — QUARTIER LIBRE / FREE DAY

After six days of organized activities, participants will have a free day.

Use the day to:

• Rest

• Explore independently

• Shop for souvenirs

• Spend time at the hotel

• Visit places of personal interest

• Enjoy Ghana at your own pace

Participants will receive guidance regarding safe and appropriate options for their free day.

🇹🇬 DAY 8 — TOGO

The journey continues!

• Group departure from Ghana

• Ground transportation toward Togo

• Border-crossing procedures

• Arrival in Togo

• Hotel check-in

• Introduction to Togolese culture

• Relaxation and evening gathering

🇹🇬 DAYS 9–14 — TOGO

The second part of our journey will introduce participants to the culture, traditions, nature, food, and coastal life of Togo.

DAY 9 — KPALIMÉ: NATURE & CULTURE

Travel toward Kpalimé, one of Togo's beautiful natural and cultural regions.

• Scenic journey through Togo

• Visit to the Kpalimé area

• Discover local vegetation and landscapes

• Cultural interaction

• Local cuisine

• Relaxation in a natural setting

DAY 10 — WATERFALL & NATURE EXPERIENCE

• Visit to a waterfall in the Kpalimé region

• Nature walk

• Photography

• Time to enjoy the natural environment

• Local lunch or meal experience

• Return and relaxation

The exact waterfall and activities will depend on accessibility, weather, safety conditions, and the final local arrangements.

DAY 11 — RETURN TO LOMÉ

• Travel back toward Lomé

• Explore parts of the city

• Visit a local market

• Discover Togolese crafts and products

• Taste local food

• Evening cultural experience

DAY 12 — TRADITIONS, MUSIC & DANCE

A hands-on cultural experience.
